Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules for using URoom, including accounts, rooms, posts, comments, video uploads, invites, and community features.

Effective date: May 26, 2026

1. Who can use URoom

You must be at least 13 years old to use URoom. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use URoom only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use URoom. If you use URoom on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens through your account.

2. Your account and profile

URoom accounts use an email address, password, display name, avatar, and other profile details you choose to provide. Your email address stays private in the product, while your display name and avatar may appear in rooms, posts, comments, votes, and other social features.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date. We may require email verification before enabling some features, including room creation.

3. Rooms, posts, comments, and videos

URoom lets people create rooms, invite or approve members, publish videos, post messages, comment, react, and share video moments. You are responsible for the content you create, upload, publish, or share through URoom.

You may upload original videos you created, or videos and materials you have the legal right and permission to upload, publish, and share on URoom.

You keep ownership of content that belongs to you. By posting or uploading content to URoom, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, stream, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate, improve, protect, and promote URoom and its features.

Room owners are responsible for the rooms they create, including room names, room descriptions, invites, member access, uploaded videos, and moderation decisions within the controls URoom provides.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use URoom to break the law, violate another person's rights, impersonate others, distribute malware, scrape or abuse the service, evade rate limits, or interfere with the security or availability of URoom.

Do not upload or share adult content, pornographic content, sexually explicit material, or nudity intended for sexual gratification. URoom is not for adult entertainment, pornography, or explicit sexual material.

Do not upload or share content that is illegal, exploitative, hateful, harassing, threatening, invasive of privacy, or that you do not have the rights to share.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, delete rooms, or take other action when we believe these terms, our product rules, or the safety of URoom are at risk.

5. Service changes and availability

URoom is an evolving product. We may add, change, limit, suspend, or remove features at any time. We may also perform maintenance or experience interruptions.

We aim to keep URoom useful and reliable, but the service is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that URoom will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that content will always remain available.

6. Third-party services

URoom relies on third-party providers for parts of the service, such as hosting, databases, email delivery, realtime messaging, video streaming, media storage, and security. Their services may affect how URoom works and may have their own terms.

You are responsible for any third-party content, links, or services you choose to use through URoom.

7. Intellectual property

URoom, including its name, brand, interface, software, and original product materials, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you ownership of URoom's intellectual property.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, sell, lease, or exploit URoom except as allowed by these terms or by law.

8. Ending use

You may stop using URoom at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these terms, created risk for URoom or its users, or used the service in a way that could cause harm.

Some content may remain visible or retained after account closure where needed to operate rooms, preserve conversations, comply with law, prevent abuse, or maintain backups.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, URoom and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or service interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Updates to these terms

We may update these terms as URoom changes. When updates are material, we will take reasonable steps to let users know, such as updating the effective date or providing notice in the product.

Your continued use of URoom after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.
